Administrative Structure

Kano State is one of the 36 states of Nigeria, located in the northern part of the country. The state is further divided into these 44 LGAs to bring governance closer to the people and facilitate grassroots development.

Each LGA is headed by a Chairman, who is the chief executive, and a council of elected councilors representing various wards.
