Governor Yusuf Mourns with Kano Businessman El-Samad, Aide Oyoyo
Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has extended his heartfelt condolences to renowned Kano businessman, Alhaji Sammani Adam El-Samad, over the death of his beloved sister.
In a condolence message issued by the Governor’s spokesperson Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa on Saturday, Governor Yusuf described the passing as a deeply painful loss—not just to the El-Samad family, but to the entire Kano business community and all who knew the deceased for her compassion, generosity, and strong faith.
He prayed for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness upon her soul, urging the El-Samad family to remain steadfast in faith and take solace in the will of Allah.
“May the Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings, accept her good deeds, and admit her into Aljannatul Firdaus,” the Governor said, adding that the deceased’s legacy of kindness and uprightness will not be forgotten.
In a related development, Governor Yusuf also extended his condolences to his Special Adviser on Students’ Matters, Comrade Yusuf Oyoyo, following the death of his father.
The Governor described the late father as a man of honour who lived a humble and impactful life, and prayed that Allah grant him eternal rest.
He also commended Comrade Oyoyo’s tireless efforts in student affairs and youth development, assuring him of continued support in this moment of grief.
Governor Yusuf emphasized the importance of standing with people in their moments of sorrow and urged the public to keep both families in their prayers.
