IMPLEMENTATION OF COMMUNITY REVOLVING FUNDS TO 10 PILOT COMMUNITIES ACROSS KANO STATE

The Community Revolving Fund (CRF) team of the Kano-ACReSAL project paid a courtesy visit to the palace of Dan-Galadiman Kano, the District Head of Gwale LGA, Alhaji Yahaya Inuwa Abbas.
The visit, which took place today under the leadership of the State Project Coordinator, Dr. Dahir Muhammad Hashim, aimed to seek royal blessings for the success of the CRF scheme in Kano State.
While briefing the District Head on the milestones achieved in accessing the CRF for beneficiary communities, Dr. Dahir emphasized the purposeful utilization of the fund to benefit a broad spectrum of members and the State at large.
He further commended the Kano State Government under the leadership of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf for its unwavering support and commitment towards the successful implementation of the CRF scheme, which will positively impact the livelihoods of many communities across the State.
Dr. Dahir also highlighted the rigorous training and capacity-building efforts undertaken to acquaint beneficiary groups with their defined roles and responsibilities in line with the project's guidelines.
He reiterated the ACReSAL project's commitment to boosting the livelihoods of communities across the 20 participating states through the agricultural value chain, noting that these achievements would not have been possible without the enabling environment provided by the Kano State Government.
In his response, the District Head, Alhaji Yahaya Inuwa Abbas, expressed satisfaction with the project's efforts to improve the livelihoods of communities in the State.
The Dan-Galadiman Kano applauded the Kano State Government's dedication to uplifting its people and urged beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds for their intended purpose.
He also assured the project team of his commitment to monitoring the beneficiaries’ progress and ensuring the scheme's success within the community.
