Kano State Ministry for Rural signs multi Billion naira contract for the construction of rural roads...

Kano State Ministry for Rural and Community Development has signed multi billion naira contract for the Rehabilitation of rural roads in some parts of the state.
The state Commissioner for Rural and Community Development, Alh Abdulqadir Abdulsalam disclosed this at signing ceremony of the contract held at the conference hall of the ministry. 
Alh Abdulkadir Abdussalam said the roads include Dambatta - Makoda, Danzabuwa - Kunchi and Danmarke - Jigawar Satame roads.
The Commissioner explained that the roads which covered a distance of 24.70 kilometers would be executed at N2,995,873, 150.99 billion naira by PHILCO Construction Ltd.
He also disclosed that another set of the rehabilitation would cover 16.81 Kilometers Roads from Bunkure - Bono, Kausani - Michika and 'Yandoji roads to be executed at N2,099,140,595.56 billion naira which would be handled by ZHONGHAD Overseas Construction Company Ltd.
The Commissioner therefore urged the Contractors handling the projects to ensure quality work and their timely completion in accordance with contract agreements.
Alh Abdulkadir Abdussalam warned that the government would not condone the use of substandard materials in the execution of the projects.
Responding on behalf of the Contractors,Alh Isyaku Pilco assured  the commissioner of their resolve to work according to specifications of the contract.
He thanked Kano State government under the leadership of Governor Alh Abba Kabir Yusuf for the confidence reposed in them and pledged to live up to expectations.
