PHOTOS: His Excellency Gov. Abba K Yusuf has formally launched the disbursement of 5 billion naira as the 5th tranche of the payment of retirement and death benefits of civil servants who were not paid by the previous administration of Gandujiyya.
During the event, His Excellency promptly directed the State Accountant General and the Honourable Commissioner of Finance to commence preparation for the payment of the 6th tranche.
So far, 27 billion naira has been settled as part of the 43 billion naira Gratuity and Death liabilities left by the previous government of APC.
