I have approved the purchase of fertilizer worth N5.07 billion to support smallholder farmers in Kano State. 

This move is aimed to facilitate food sufficiency through massive agricultural transformation in our state. 

The fertilizer will be distributed across the 44 Local Government Areas at a subsidized rate to support farmers, especially those in rural areas, to increase crop yields during the 2024 rainy season. - AKY
