Empowerment of N150,000 to 5,384 youths in the state
Project Overview
Today, we took a bold step towards engaging our teeming youth by flagging off the disbursement of the first tranche of the Kano State Youth Empowerment Programme. This programme aims to support young entrepreneurs in starting and expanding their businesses.
Speaking at the ceremony, I revealed that a total of 5,384 young men and women have each received ₦150,000.
This initiative is designed to help our young people become active members of the business community and contribute to societal progress.
Furthermore, I urged the beneficiaries to make the best use of the funds to grow their ventures and secure a better future.
I also appealed to those still on the waiting list to remain patient, assuring them that the second tranche of the programme will be released soon.
Our administration will continue to prioritise policies and programmes that empower young people and create sustainable livelihoods across Kano State. - AKY
